CESANESE DEL PIGLIO D.O.C.G.

JASON GRILLI

The Jason Grilli originates 100% from the vinifcation of Cesanese Affile grapes cultivated on the farm. Thanks to an early harvest and a refinement performed only in big steel tanks, it has allowed the wine to keep the scents of sour cherries and a freshness that is the soul of this great vine native to the Lazio region.
A red wine, still and dry, characterized by a good sugar content and a good acidity that releases an excellent aroma in the glass that is maintained over time.

The quality of this wine has allowed it to obtain several awards over the years: with its characteristic and original organoleptic profile, it will surprise you with its freshness and its excellent flavor. The Jason Grilli is an examplary wine for its pleasantness to drink, with an elegant tannic weave and just the right body. The pulp is stressed in taste persistence. It can be easily matched to any kind of cuisine.

PLESEANT & ELEGANT

A historic variety of the area around Rome and widely grown throughout the Lazio Region, it has become of particularly significant importance in the Piglio zone. It is a grape that produces elegant, intriguing and attractive wines, which also have some potential for aging.

Good structure and presence of good polyphenolic and polymerised tannic endowments, which give the wine a full-bodied character, absence of roughness and good longevity. The product has a ruby red color with violet reflections, an intense aroma with floral and fruity hints (berries and drupes) typical of the cultivars, a harmonious dry flavor with the right body.

On the palate, all the wines have normal acidity, a barely perceptible bitterness, little astringency, good structure (sometimes tending to weaken in the base type), which contribute to their taste balance.

Cesanese del Piglio D.O.C.G.

The designation of origin Cesanese del Piglio (or Piglio) DOCG is reserved for wines produced from grapes of the Cesanese di Affile and/or Cesanese vines, 90% minimum and complementary vines, suitable for cultivation for the Lazio Region, for no more than 10%.

Italian Baseball Softball Players Association

“Be your favorite player.”

The Italian Baseball Softball Players Association (IBSPA) is the first Italian union of players created with the aim of protecting the sporting, moral, professional, economic and legal interests of athletes in italian leagues of Baseball, Softball, Baseball5 and Baseball for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

In the Italian Baseball and Softball system, Players don’t have an official contract but they can fill a private agreement between them and the Club they’re playing for; unless the private deed in question is filed with the registration form (which is not mandatory), the contract has no legal value to recover any credit from club’s ownership.

Athletes have disputes with Clubs about their agreements due to the unfairness of the memberships system for decades.

Athletes of all ages who play in the Italian leagues deserve a more equitable system, within which they can undertake a path that is both formative as a sportsman and that offers opportunities for growth on the technical-specific side.
Players that are IBSPA Member have available resources to solve their disputes.
